Lively Dance Duo Makes ‘BGT’ Judges Smile in Early Release Clip

Britain’s Got Talent Series 17 returns this weekend for another round of auditions, and the show has shared an early release video featuring an unforgettable performance by dance duo Abigail & Afronitaaa Their moves made the judges smile.
Dance Duo Wows the Britain’s Got Talent Judges
Abigail & Afronitaaa wore matching outfits for their audition, which featured energetic and fast-paced dance moves. The judges could be seen dancing along to the routine, and at one point the dancers got the crowd to clap along.
Both dancers are from Ghana, and together they have over five million followers on TikTok. Last year, Abigail (who has a hearing impairment) won a competition called Talented Kidz. Afronitaaa documented their first meeting about a year ago on TikTok.
Last month, Afronitaaa announced that she’s opening a school called Afrostar Kids Academy, for children between the ages of 3 and 12. As she wrote in her announcement, “This is one of the biggest things to happen to the dance industry in Ghana and across the world!”

The Show Returns This Weekend
Abigail & Afronitaaa’s full audition will air this Saturday night as Britain’s Got Talent Series 17 returns for a new episode at 7:30 pm in the UK. Fans can watch the show on ITV1, ITVX, and STV. So far, four acts have received Golden Buzzers this year.
Last month, the show’s two-night premiere featured three Golden Buzzer acts. Singer Sydnie Christmas received the honor from Amanda Holden, taekwondo troupe Ssaulabi earned it from hosts Ant and Dec, and singing group Ravi’s Dream Team inspired Alesha Dixon to give them the honor.
Then last week, Simon Cowell hit the Golden Buzzer for a Japanese dance group called CyberAgent Legit. Who will earn the honor this week, and which judge will do the honors? We’ll have to wait and see when the new episode airs on Saturday.
