The Voice Season 26 returned this week as the Three-Way Knockouts kicked off. The coaches put their artists into groups of three and heard their individual performances in order to narrow down their teams. This week’s episodes featured several steals and saves.
The Voice Three-Way Knockouts Kick Off
During Monday night’s episode, coach Snoop Dogg put together a Knockout between his artists Austyns Stancil, Christina Eagle, and Jake Tankersley. Austyns ended up winning the Knockout and keeping his spot on Team Snoop with his performance of “Dance with My Father” by Luther Vandross.
However, it wasn’t the end of the road for Christina and Jake. Christina’s performance of “My Church” by Maren Morris inspired Snoop to hit his save button, and the other three coaches to hit their steal buttons. Christina got to choose who she wanted to work with, and she ultimately decided to stay on Team Snoop.
Meanwhile, Jake’s performance of “Going, Going, Gone” by Luke Combs inspired Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire to hit their steal buttons. Jake chose to join Stefani’s team. All three artists in this Knockout are going to the Season 26 Playoffs.
There Were Even More Steals and Saves This Week
Monday’s episode also featured another steal and save. After McEntire chose to keep Adam Bohanan on her team for his performance of “Colors” by Black Pumas, Michael Bublé hit his button to steal Team Reba’s Jaukeem Fortson for his performance of “God Only Knows” by For King & Country.
Bublé also hit his save button later in the show to keep Sloane Simon on his team after choosing Cameron Wright as the winner of the Knockout. Cameron impressed with “You’re All I Need to Get By” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, while Sloane performed “Can’t Catch Me Now” by Olivia Rodrigo.
Then on Tuesday night’s show, McEntire stole Bublé’s artist Edward Preble, who performed “Send in the Clowns” from A Little Night Music. Edward lost the Knockout to Shye, who stayed on Team Bublé with a performance of “The One That Got Away” by Katy Perry.
