America’s Got Talent Season 12 winner Darci Lynne Farmer recently celebrated her 21st birthday. In photos from her party posted on Instagram, the ventriloquist seems to show off a darker hair color than fans are used to seeing.
Darci Lynne Celebrates 21st Birthday with New Hair Color
Darci Lynne turned 21 on October 12. Earlier this week, she took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her birthday celebration, including a few cute shots with her boyfriend, Kendon Reed. In other photos, Darci poses with her friends and her parents.
“Thank you to everyone who made me feel so loved on my birthday Sunday,” Darci wrote. “21 years and counting! Praise God for another year to be a light in the dark, and to continue to spread love. 1 John 4:16.”
Based on the outfits of Darci and her guests, the party appears to have been retro-themed. In one shot, Darci smiles as she puts together a plate of tacos. One other thing is notable about the photos, and that’s Darci’s hair.
In recent social media posts, Darci has sported light blonde, shoulder-length hair. However, in her birthday photos, her hair appears darker, looking either brunette or dark blonde depending on the lighting. She wore it pulled back in a long, curly ponytail for the party.

Darci Recently Released a New Song
Darci Lynne won Season 12 of America’s Got Talent with her singing ventriloquist routine, but in recent years she’s been releasing more original music, sung without the help of her puppets. On her birthday, she put out a new song called “Hold Me.”
“This one is very special to and I’m itching to share it with you guys,” Darci wrote on Instagram when she announced the song’s release date last month.
Earlier this year, Darci released another original song called “Better Late Than Never.” Last year, she released the songs “Push Our Luck,” “Someone Wake Me Up,” and “Takes a Melody.”
