‘The Masked Dancer UK’ Eliminates Two Celebrities in First Double Elimination
We’re just days away from a crowned winner on The Masked Dancer UK. Today, two more celebrities were revealed in the season’s first double elimination.
Viewers at home were treated with quite the surprise this episode, with Zoe Ball (Llama) and Christopher Dean (Beagle) unveiling themselves. Ball is a television and radio host, most commonly known for her work on the BBC. Dean is an ice dancer, famous for winning the gold medal in the 1984 Winter Olympics.
Like all celebrities who appear on the show, contestants must keep their appearance quiet to avoid spoiling the unmasking surprise. Ball, admitted that it was “tough” avoiding telling her son, Woody.

David Walliams Guest Judges
Britain’s Got Talent‘s David Walliams joined the panel today, hoping to bring his years of talent show judging expertise to The Masked Dancer. From the beginning of the episode, Walliams and Ross were seen battling it out for the wittiest comments of the night. Viewers online via Twitter were clearly excited to see the TV personality on the panel.
“David Walliams makes this show 10x better, already,” one user wrote during the show.
The BGT judge failed to make any successful guesses for Beagle or Llama despite being an entertaining addition to the quarter final.
Viewers Obsess Over Joel Dommet’s Suits
It has been a running trend on The Masked Dancer this year on each episode, for host Joel Dommett to dress as extravagantly as possible. While viewers often find it hard to bypass the host’s dad jokes while introducing acts, Dommett’s suits are definitely a talking point online.
“One of the only reasons I watch #maskeddanceruk is for Joel’s suits,” one user wrote.
“Does Joel look at posh hotel wallpaper and say ‘That, but in a suit,'” another joked.
Ok we admit it, Dommett could easily win the award for best dressed talent show host of 2021.
The long awaited Masked Dancer UK semifinal airs tomorrow on ITV.
