‘The Masked Dancer UK’ Reveals Winner After Week-Long Season
It’s been a busy week of guessing, but now we can finally reveal the winner of The Masked Dancer UK. Just four remained in the season finale after a week of nightly episodes. Daytime talk show host, Holly Willoughby joined the panel as guest judge for the final performances.
Four Remaining Dancers Battle it Out on ‘The Masked Dancer UK’
Just four contestants remained in today’s Masked Dancer final. Carwash, Scarecrow, Squirrel, and Zip all performed for the panel and viewers at home one last time. Unfortunately for Zip, the contestant was instantly eliminated from the virtual audience. The contestant was revealed as Take That‘s very own Howard Donald.
“I’m sure like everyone else as well it was good to get my fitness back and help with lockdown boredom,” Donald told host, Joel Dommet.
Donald is a member of boy band, Take That. And, for all you talent show fanatics, you may even know that Donald has featured on a dance show before. Back in 2013, Donald signed up as judge on Got To Dance in Germany.
56-year-old, Langford’s reveal was particularly surprising for both online viewers and the panel. Throughout the season, a lot of speculation surrounded the youthful nature of the contestant. Of course, this definitely wasn’t the case.
“Bonnie Langford throwing splits and high legs all over the place when I can barely get off the sofa without a helping hand,” one Twitter user joked.
The Winner of ‘The Masked Dancer UK’ Finally Revealed
The winner of The Masked Dancer UK was finally revealed as Carwash. The contestant amazed viewers every night with backflips, breakdancing and nearly every dance move you can think of. The contestant was revealed as gymnast, Louis Smith!
“I love the singer version, I love dancing and I love performing,” Smith told the judging panel after his reveal.
“It was pretty easy keeping it a secret but was difficult not to tell my mum,” he added.
Carwash has been somewhat of a fan favorite online, with many admitting to having a crush on the contestant.
“I think the entire country has fallen in love with a carwash, how you’ve managed to do that is incredible,” host, Joel Dommett told Smith.
