Sofie Dossi, Reba McEntire to Perform on This Week’s ‘AGT’ Results Show

America’s Got Talent Season 11 contestant Sofie Dossi is set to take the stage as a guest performer on this week’s Season 18 results show, alongside new The Voice coach Reba McEntire. The two performers have a special connection related to AGT.
Sofie Dossi, Reba McEntire to Perform on AGT Results
During Monday’s performance episode, host Terry Crews teased that contortionist Dossi and country singer McEntire would be performing together during Wednesday’s results show, adding, “That’s not something you see every day.”
Those who were watching AGT when Dossi competed will probably understand the significance of pairing Dossi and McEntire for a performance. Not only is McEntire gearing up to star on another NBC talent show when The Voice returns, but she’s also an important part of Dossi’s journey.
In Season 11, McEntire was a guest judge during the AGT Judge Cuts. Each guest judge during this round got to hit the Golden Buzzer to send an act straight to the live shows. McEntire chose to hit her Golden Buzzer for Dossi, who was just 14 at the time.
Dossi ended up making it all the way to the Finals, although she didn’t make it into the Top 5. She returned later to compete in AGT: The Champions. Now 22, Dossi has over 9 million subscribers on YouTube.

This Week Features a Wildcard Vote
This is the final week of live shows before the Season 18 finale, which means we’ll find out the last set of finalists during Wednesday’s results show. Not only will two acts go through thanks to America’s vote, but there will also be a wildcard vote.
As Crews explained, each of the four judges will choose an eliminated contestant that they want to see in the Finals. Viewers at home will then participate in an instant save vote during the show, to decide which of those four contestants should earn the last spot in the Finals.
That means there will be 11 finalists this year. Those acts will take the stage during next Tuesday’s performance episode. We’ll find out the Season 18 winner on next Wednesday’s results show.
