“Do you know how much of my life I’ve spent with this man?” Seacrest said at the start of the interview. “Randy, Simon, and I traveled the country for a decade … Randy was our babysitter.”
Jackson replied that Seacrest and Cowell were like 5-year-olds who got into trouble. He added that the things they got up to are “not fit to be told on the radio right now.” Seacrest reminded him of the time they shared a suite in Las Vegas, making Jackson laugh at the memory.
The host also shared that Cowell would always schedule dinners between the three of them late at night, and Seacrest would ask if they could do it earlier. Jackson described it as an “all-night dinner,” joking, “What time zone do you have dinner in?”

Jackson Wants to See the Current ‘Idol’ Judges on ‘Name That Tune’
Jackson is the bandleader on the new reboot of the classic game show Name That Tune, which airs Tuesdays on FOX. The new season of the show is a celebrity edition, featuring stars such as Kelly Osbourne and Vernon Davis playing for charity.
Jackson said he’d liked to see Seacrest compete on the show, playing against current American Idol judges Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry. They shot the current season in Dublin, Ireland, and Jackson told Seacrest that the two of them could be “bubblin’ in Dublin” if he did the show.
The topic of recognizing songs led Seacrest to share that some artists who have performed on his shows don’t even know the words to their own songs. Some of them have to carry the lyrics around with them. Unfortunately he didn’t name any names.
