Carrie Underwood Announces New Album ‘Denim and Rhinestones’ Will Drop on June 10

TikTok viral singer/songwriter and American Idol alum, Jax, paid homage to one of Carrie Underwood’s hit songs in her recent release “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.” This song was released on February 11 and has since gained some major attention.

Jax shared a video with none other than Carrie Underwood herself. The caption of the video revealed that the singer met Underwood after putting her name in the song. Within the short video for TikTok, Jax is seen lip syncing her song until Underwood’s reference.

“But he cheated on me ’cause he could / And I went full Carrie Underwood on him,” Jax sings in the song.

During the reference, Underwood walked into the frame with a baseball bat in her hand. Jax looks absolutely starstruck while dancing to the song with Underwood. In the comments of her video, Jax replied to Underwood’s comment thanking her for being so down to earth.

A few days after the TikTok was posted, Underwood shared it to her Instagram page. Within the reel she thanked Jax for coming to her Las Vegas residency, Reflection. Since sharing this cute collaboration video, the country icon has made a giant announcement on the platform.

Carrie Underwood’s Ninth Studio Album Drops This June

Underwood announced that her ninth studio album available for pre-order at midnight. Her highly anticipated ninth studio album, Denim and Rhinestones releases on June 10, 2022. Fans of the singer cannot wait to hear the new tracks. While nothing has been revealed about the songs on the album, fans have noted that their excited for the new era of Carrie Underwood.

This news comes after Underwood earned another Grammy Award at the recent ceremony. Within the ceremony she performed her newest single “Ghost Story.” This single is yet another revenge song, but it tells a different narrative than “Before He Cheats.” Instead of smashing windows, it’s all about a woman haunting her ex no matter how hard he tries to forget her.

Ahead of the release of “Ghost Story,” Underwood had teased the possibility of new music and a tour in the future. Since Underwood wasn’t kidding about new music, it’s possible that she’ll soon reveal a tour on the way as well.
