‘Canada’s Got Talent’ Announces 2025 Premiere Date

Canada’s Got Talent has officially announced the premiere date for the 2025 season of the show, featuring new judges Shania Twain and Katherine Ryan. The show also shared a fun teaser for the new competition.
Canada’s Got Talent Announces 2025 Premiere Date
The new season of Canada’s Got Talent will officially premiere on Tuesday, March 18, on Citytv. It will also be available to stream on Citytv+. The show recently shared a teaser for the new season on social media, featuring the judges and host.
The clip starts with returning judges Howie Mandel and Kardinal Offishall, as well as new judge Katherine Ryan and host Lindsay Ell, dancing and singing along to “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” by Shania Twain. Eventually, Twain herself is revealed, letting Mandel know that the “show’s about to start.”
Twain is joining the show this year for her first season as a judge. She and Ryan are replacing former judges Lilly Singh and Trish Stratus, who sat on the panel with Mandel and Offishall for three seasons. News that Twain and Ryan were joining the show broke last June.

The Million-Dollar Prize Is Back
Last year, Canada’s Got Talent boosted its grand prize amount from $150,000 to $1 million, courtesy of Rogers. Singer Rebecca Strong was named the winner of the million-dollar prize during last year’s competition.
According to the CGT social media, the million-dollar prize will be back for the 2025 season. It’s not clear at this time whether the $25,000 prize for receiving a Golden Buzzer will once again be featured. That prize was also introduced during last year’s competition.
