Good News About Coronavirus
If you have gone out to the grocery store lately or have even gone to take a walk, you may have noticed a lot of people wearing face masks. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo recently announced that the city was facing a shortage of medical supplies including face masks and hospital gowns. This prompted designer Christian Siriano to tweet out that he would get his team to sew face masks at home to help combat this problem.
His team quickly got to work and he shared some prototypes of the newly made masks on Twitter.
Siriano’s good deed prompted people around the world to offer their sewing skills to make face masks if needed.
There is no doubt that we need to support each other and help in any way we can to get through this pandemic. Good deeds like this are extremely helpful and will save a lot of lives. Stay safe, and check back tomorrow for day four of our recap.
