Does Orlando Bloom want to get back together with his ex-fiancée Katy Perry? A source recently claimed that the actor is hoping for “another chance” with Perry following their split earlier this year.
Does Orlando Bloom Want to Rekindle Katy Perry Romance?
In July of this year, Perry and Bloom confirmed that they had broken up after nine years together on and off, including six years engaged. The couple shares a 5-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom.
A source recently told Star magazine that Bloom is allegedly reconsidering his split from Perry, explaining, “The longer he reflects where he’s headed right now, the more anxious he feels and the more it sinks in that he’s made a big mistake letting Katy slip through his fingers.”
The source called the split “humbling” for Bloom, adding that Perry “was the best thing that happened to him,” even through their “ups and downs” as a couple. They also shared that Bloom is allegedly building up the “courage to ask for another chance” and is “telling people he’s trying to make nice with Katy.”

The Couple Seems to Be Getting Along Post-Split
Although Bloom’s attempts to get back together with Perry are just rumor at this point, the former couple does seem to be getting along after their split. Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr recently shared that she hung out with both Perry and Bloom at their daughter’s birthday party.
“It was very sweet. Katy and I were talking to Orlando,” Kerr recalled. “They were like, ‘Oh, let’s get a photo.’ And it was kinda funny. Katy sent me the photo of Orlando and his two exes on either side, me and Katy.”
Kerr said they’re all “one big happy family,” emphasizing the importance of couples remaining amicable after a breakup and adding, “Especially when you have children, it shouldn’t be any other way. It needs to be harmonious.”
Bloom recently shared a rare photo of his and Perry’s daughter Daisy on Instagram stories. Although he didn’t show the 5-year-old’s face, the picture shows her sitting in the kitchen with her head down and a plate of food in front of her, showing off her curly blonde hair. As Bloom wrote, “The hair is everything.”
