This comedian took the stage with a set of jokes that made him a standout performer of the night. Since the audience loved his performance so much, it’s no surprise that he has claimed his spot in the America’s Got Talent season 17 finale.

Since Mike is in the finale, he unfortunately won’t be able to appear in Mandel’s upcoming New York show. But, it seems like he’s open to the idea of opening for the comedian in the future.

Mike E Winfield Reacts to Howie Mandel’s Invitation

Mike took the America’s Got Talent stage with a comedy routine, but left with a potential gig. Following his stand out performance, judge Howie Mandel offered to share the stage with the comedian at an upcoming show in New York.

For those who may have missed it, Howie Mandel offered the comedian a gig on stage if Mike didn’t make it through into the finale. Everyone, including Mike, was shocked at this gracious offer.

“I just saw something spectacular not only is it spectacular, only two are going through, America better vote,” Mandel said. “But I will tell you something, if you do not get voted into the finals on September 9th I’m playing the Westbury theatre in New York, you come open up for me.”

He finished his statement by stating that he thought the comedian wouldn’t be available. Following the show, Mike reacted to the offer stating that he didn’t hear all of what the comedian said, but he heard the offer.

“That was the first time, I think, physically my body moved across stage,” he said on the red carpet. “Because I was [like], ‘That really just happened?’ in real time. So yes, that would be amazing!”

Although the comedian will not be able to open for Mandel, he’s able to continue the fight for the win. We cannot wait to see what Mike brings in the finale. He’s been able to get the audience laughing each time he’s taken the stage, so many predict he’ll end up on the top.
