Former Dancing With The Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy is chiming in on his opinions, regarding this season. His biggest opinion is based on ex-convict Anna Delvey.

Recently, the former professional dancer appeared on TMZ’s podcast, where he gave his opinion on this season of Dancing With The Stars. When talking candidly about Delvey on the series, Chmerkovskiy admitted that the ex-convict is a “s****y dancer.” He also felt that her “standoffish” vibe won’t keep her in the competition very long.
He also believes that the fashionista’s dance wasn’t so bad because of nerves. Instead he pointed out that she’s a “professional liar.” Therefore, he won’t believe what she says “’cause conning people takes guts and self-control — something he said she has bundles off.”
Delvey reacted to Chmerkovskiy’s criticism via Instagram story. The ex convict reshared Kelly Cutrone’s Instagram story, in which she commented “I thought this said SEXY!! @maksimc Did you mean sassy or are you so pathetic that you cannot get on a show you have to attack someone? No one cares about your opinion, Dance yourself into a new reality. “
In response, Delvey shared Cutrone’s story, adding “Who’s this Maksim person? He must be poor.”
Carrie Ann Inaba Stood Up For Delvey’s DWTS Casting
During the premiere episode, Inaba commented on the casting. After Delvey’s dance, Inaba discussed the “atmosphere shift” following her dance. Inaba asked critics to give Delvey a shot despite her past.
For those who may not have seen the premiere, Delvey snagged three 6s from the judges. Judge Bruno Tonioli even made a jab about her Netflix series, Inventing Anna. Tonioli shouted “Reinventing Anna … yet again! And, it just might be working!”
