The Masked Singer Returns for Shrek Night
Wednesday’s show determined which three contestants would move on to the Group A Finals next week. The episode featured some great performances, including a moving rendition of “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen from Paparazzo.
Meanwhile, Coral had everyone dancing with their performance of “Accidentally in Love” by Counting Crows, and Ant wowed with a powerful cover of “Wide Awake” by Katy Perry. At the end of the night, Paparazzo, Coral, and Ant all made it to the Group A Finals.
Wednesday’s episode also featured some fun Shrek-inspired details, like the panelists’ costumes. For example, Jenny McCarthy wore Princess Fiona’s iconic green dress, while Ken Jeong channeled Lord Farquaad, complete with the bob haircut. Jeong also performed “All Star” by Smash Mouth.

Fuzzy Peas Unmasked as Oscar De La Hoya
During this week’s show, Fuzzy Peas took the stage to sing “I’m a Believer” by Smash Mouth. It was a fun performance, but Fuzzy Peas unfortunately didn’t receive enough votes to move on to the Group A Finals. He was eliminated and unmasked.
Guesses from the panel about Fuzzy Peas’ identity included Antonio Banderas, Cesar Millan, Pitbull, and John Leguizamo. However, none of them were correct in guessing that it was actually famous boxer Oscar De La Hoya. Rita Ora called it “one of the most shocking reveals ever.”
De La Hoya is no stranger to singing. He was actually nominated for a Grammy for his self-titled album back in 2001. However, the boxer joked to host Nick Cannon he “would rather be in the ring being punched by Mike Tyson” than get back on stage.
