‘Dancing With The Stars’ Recap: ‘The Bachelor’, ‘Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin’ Celebs Shine

Dancing With The Stars is back! Season 33’s premiere kicked off with a no-elimination episode. Here’s everything you missed on Tuesday night.


Dancing With The Stars Kicks Off With a Bang

The night started with The Bachelor Joey Graziadei and his partner Jenna Johnson. The pair performed a Cha Cha to “Dancin’ In The Country” by Tyler Hubbard. They earned a 21 out of 30. The judges were extremely impressed with The Bachelor‘s week one abilities.

Up next was Sports Illustrated Model Brooks Nader and her partner Gleb Savchenko. The pair performed a Tango to “Piece of Me” by Britney Spears. They earned 18 out of 30.

Then came Team USA Rugby player Ilona Maher and her partner Alan Bersten. They performed a Cha Cha to “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” by Shania Twain. The pair earned a 18 out of 30. Maher was extremely grateful when receiving her notes, saying they’re being too nice.


Next was Family Matters star Reginald Veljohnson and Emma Slater. The pair performed a Salsa to “Motownphilly” by Boyz II Men. They scored a 16 out of 30. Judges want to see Veljohnson move on the dance floor more next week.

More Celebrities Impress in Week 1

The ballroom then saw Superbowl Champion Danny Amendola and his partner, returning professional, Witney Carson. They performed a Tango to “A Bar Song (Tipsy) [Remix]” by Shaboozey & David Guetta. They scored a 20 out of 30 points.

Next was Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling and her partner Pasha Pashkov. The pair danced a Foxtrot to “Trustfall” by P!nk. They scored a 17 out of 30.


Later, came The Bachelorette Jenn Tran and her partner Sasha Farber. The dancing pair performed a Cha Cha to “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus. The pair earned a 19 out of 30.

Next was Pretty Little Liars star Chandler Kinney and her partner Brandon Armstrong. The pair performed a Tango to “HOT TO GO!” by Chappell Roan. The pair earned a 23 out of 30. They hit the top of the leaderboard with this dance.

Finally, NBA player Dwight Howard took the stage with Daniella Karagach. They performed a Salsa to “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan. They earned a 22 out of 30. Following was Actor Eric Roberts and his partner Britt Stewart. Roberts and Stewart performed a Cha Cha to “Old Time Rock and Roll” by Bob Seger. The pair earned a 15 out of 30.

There Was No Elimination This Week, Two Will Go Home Next Week

Next was Real Housewives Star Phaedra Parks and her partner, Mirrorball champion Val Chmerkovskiy. The reality star and her partner performed a Cha Cha to “I’m Every Woman” by Whitney Houston. They scored a 19 out of 30.

Second to last of the night was Team USA Pommel Horse star Stephen Nedoroscik and his partner Rylee Arnold. The pair performed a Jive to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. Their energetic Jive earned a 21 out of 30. This pair truly shined, the Jive is not an easy dance, yet the olympian and his partner made it look easy in the first week.

The final dance of the night was none other than con artist Anna Delvey with partner, new pro Ezra Sosa. The pair performed a Cha Cha to “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. They earned a 18 out of 30. Delvey was pretty stiff in the ballroom, but she claims she plans to reinvent herself as a ballroom icon this time.

Dancing With The Stars returns to ABC and Disney+ on Tuesday, September 24. Next week, the show will premiere their first elimination.
