Bryan released “But I Got a Beer in My Hand” back in May of this year. In the lyrics, he sings about a breakup, sharing that he “knows how that country song goes” and adding that he’s “supposed to be heartbroke.”
But that’s not how he’s chosen to deal with the situation, singing on the chorus, “But I got a beer in my hand, and I got it raised up high / I ain’t got a give in my damn right, I can do this all night.”
Bryan took the stage to belt out the song during CMA Fest, to a huge crowd at Nissan Stadium. The singer was dressed in his typical uniform of blue jeans, cowboy boots, and a baseball cap. At one point during the performance, he turned the cap around.
Currently, Bryan is in the middle of his Country On Tour, with dates lined up around the United States into October.
