Grimes Doesn’t Let Her Kids Call Her Mother, Calls Her by Name Instead

Grimes revealed she doesn’t “identify,” with the word mother, preferring that her kids would rather call her by name. The Alter Ego judge apparently doesn’t want to be labeled as a “mom,” because it is distasteful for her as an artist.
Grimes’ Son Calls Her by Name
The former girlfriend of Elon Musk whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher revealed her two year old son calls her by name. This is after Grimes said being called mom or mother feels “weird” for the 34-year-old singer.
“I think having a baby was a big rebirth for me artistically. Being a mother feels weird for me to say,” Grimes said. “X says Claire, but he doesn’t say “mama” like, maybe he can sense my distaste for the word mother.”
Grimes shared two kids together with the billionaire business magnate. The confusingly named children are their two-year-old son X Æ A-Xii, and their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk who they had in December 2021. The couple had already broken up by the time their daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl was born.
The singer then admittedly said that even she herself doesn’t know why she dislikes being called a mother. The synth-pop singer chalked it up to her musical style and being called a mother goes against her persona as a singer.
She Posted Risque Pictures For a Halloween Throwback
Baring it all on her latest Instagram posts, Grimes doesn’t let herself be left out of the Halloween fun. She posted several pictures of herself wearing a costume (or lack thereof) of a character from the videogame Elden Ring.
The costume itself only consists of a helmet with wings and a matching sword. What completes the picture is a background of a dark castle with bats flying around.
Grimes is known for her unique taste in fashion, almost always wearing over-the-top costumes you don’t normally see. In September, the musician explained that she was considering getting a white ink tattoo on her face. The singer already has had so-called alien scar tattoos on her entire back.
Other quirky features that Grimes desired to have are getting vampire fangs or teeth caps and surgically adding elf ears. Musk on the other hand shot down the idea of going through the elf ear surgery and said he was not a fan of it.
