Demi Lovato reveals her regret over making three documentaries about her struggles with addiction. She expressed her thoughts in a recent interview, about previously releasing biopics detailing her experience with alcohol, drugs, and fame.
Amid Lovato’s success with her newest album, Holy Fvck and thirtieth birthday, she’s looked back at her documentaries. The former Disney star recently revealed how much she wished she had “waited,” before filming documentaries.
“I wish I would have waited until I had my sh*t figured out more because now it’s cemented,” she said.
Understandably, Lovato does not consider doing another biopic that details her personal life but will remain open about such topics. Even though she’s not currently looking to film another biopic, she plans to continue talking about her struggles in the limelight.
When stating “my story’s not done,” the singer clarified that it will probably be in the form of an interview or book. Many fans admire how candid Lovato is about her struggles, despite how she feels about her previous documentaries.
