Bebe Rexha Injured After Concertgoer Throws Phone at Her

Singer Bebe Rexha was injured during a recent concert after someone in the crowd threw a phone at her, hitting her in the face. The concertgoer who allegedly threw the phone during Sunday night’s show has been charged with assault.
Bebe Rexha Hit by Phone During Recent Concert
While performing at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in Manhattan on Sunday night, Rexha was hit in the face by a flying cell phone. In a video showing the incident, Rexha can be seen putting her hand to her face and falling to her knees after being hit.
Rexha was reportedly taken to the hospital and had to get stitches. A 27-year-old concertgoer named Nicolas Malvagna has been charged with assault for throwing the phone. As of Monday morning, he was reportedly in police custody.
The singer’s fans took to social media after the incident to share their thoughts. User @RossBernaud, who attended the concert, wrote, “We were all having a hell of a good time and so was Bebe, we were all having a blast, I mean who would even do that???”

Rexha Updates Fans on Her Condition
On Monday, Rexha updated fans about her condition on social media. She posted two photos of herself on Instagram, one of which shows her giving a thumbs-up. There’s a bruise on her eyelid, and two bandages over her eyebrow. In another shot, a cut can be seen under Rexha’s eyebrow.
The singer also posted a video on TikTok in which she can be seen removing a pair of sunglasses to show her bruised eye. She sings, “I’m good, yeah, I’m feeling all right,” referring to her song “I’m Good (Blue)” with David Guetta.
“Im okay you guys,” Rexha wrote in the video’s caption, along with a heart emoji. Fans expressed their support for the singer in the comments, wishing her a speedy recovery.
