Fans Rave About Lizzo as ‘The Voice’ Battle Advisor

Season 28 Battles continued on The Voice Monday night, as Lizzo joined Snoop Dogg’s team as a celebrity advisor to help prepare his artists for their performances. Fans online are raving about the singer’s appearance on the show.
Lizzo Impresses as The Voice Battle Advisor
During Monday night’s episode, a fan on the show’s subreddit posted a thread in which they wrote, “Lizzo is one of the best coaches I have ever seen on this show. She has so much good advice on technique and performance. Imagine if she had a team!”
Users in the post’s comments agreed, with one writing, “Snoop basically just lets her do everything, and I don’t blame him she’s really helped his team out.” Someone else added, “She was their coach for the battles. Snoop was just there.”
Another fan posted that although they were “not much of a fan” of the singer before, “watching her interact with the singers and just seeing how much energy she has and the useful, productive criticism she brings to the auditions I think my mind has changed.”
Someone else had a similar experience watching Lizzo as an advisor on The Voice, writing, “I have a new respect for her.”

Who Are the Other Battle Advisors?
Each season, the coaches on The Voice enlist the help of a celebrity advisor to prepare their artists for the Battles. This season, a couple of past coaches returned to the show in the advisor role — including Season 27’s Kelsea Ballerini, who joined Michael Bublé’s team.
Another returning coach in this season’s Battles is Nick Jonas, who previously coached the show in Seasons 18 and 20. He’s been helping advise artists on Reba McEntire’s team during the Battles. Rounding out the advisors on Niall Horan’s team is “Someone You Loved” singer Lewis Capaldi.
