‘America’s Got Talent’ Winner Mat Franco Reacts to Celia Munoz, Nicolas Ribs on Tiktok

America’s Got Talent winner Mat Franco seems to be following this season as closely as the fans. In recent TikTok posts, he reacted to recent performances by ventriloquist Celia Munoz, as well as fellow magician Nicolas Ribs.
Mat Franco Reacts to This Year’s AGT Contestants
Mat Franco, best known as the first magician to win AGT, recently commented on a few performances from last week. Being the talented performer that he is, Franco knows firsthand what it feels like to perform on AGT. As a result, he also knows what it takes to win the competition as a whole.
On August 27, Franco posted a reaction video to Celia Munoz‘s most recent AGT performance. He talked highly of the performer and complimented on her unique technique.
Franco wrote “I’m BLOWN AWAY!!” in the caption of the post. TikTok viewers agreed with Franco that this act was extremely impressive. One person even commented “Sneezing and eating the popcorn were such genius ways of getting that extra clarity and volume she needed. Amazing!”
Since the winning magician was so impressed by this performance, he replied to a comment, stating that he wants Munoz to be asked back on to the show as a wildcard.

The next day, Franco uploaded a reaction to Nicolas Ribs’s magic act which combines technology with his sleight-of-hand skills. Throughout the video, the magician commented on Ribs’s skills and how his act plays out. He even acknowledged that Ribs’s performance was a mix of traditional manipulation and projection.
This video didn’t gain nearly as many views as Frano reacting to Munoz. Even though the video earned roughly 16,600 views, there aren’t too many comments. Although Franco seemed to enjoy the act, he was visibly more excited to watch Munoz.

Nicolas Ribs Continues Into the Finale Over Celia Munoz
Even though both contestants gave wonderful performances, Ribs came out on top. He delivered a unique style with his magic act, which received mixed reactions from the fans. One fan commented that he “Absolutely loved the creative idea. However he was quite sloppy at many points of his act and sometimes the camerawork was pretty bad.”
Nevertheless, Ribs will surely deliver his next performance with the intent to win the entire show. The added confidence boost of making it to the finals will surely help the French magician in his next performance.
Since it was announced that Ribs would continue into the finale, the ultimate debate began throughout the AGT community. Fans have begun to take their stance on which magician will end up on top. Although Ribs and fellow magician Yu Hojin perform different types of magic, many believe they’re going head to head in the finale.
