After the Mayyas won America’s Got Talent season 17, fans of the show were amazed by their captivating performances, which features subtle Lebanese symbolism. Their latest performance came with the return of Queen B herself, Beyonce, who made her first live performance in over four years at Dubai.
The Mayyas Perform Alongside Beyonce in Dubai
Viewers got the performance of a lifetime after Beyonce performed together with the latest AGT winners in a private event in Dubai. Performing an hour-long set at the opening of Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal, Beyonce gave an unforgettable performance. Complimenting the performance was the Mayyas’ stunning choreography.
The viewers present at the event were captivated during the private performance over the weekend. Beyonce subsequently appeared in a golden feathered dress, singing her song and lighting up the stage. The Mayyas took the stage beside Beyonce, when she did the first of three costume changes. The dance group wore sequin harem pants and long gloves. They then proceeded to impress the crowd with their trademark perfectly synchronized belly dance routine.
The all-female dance troupe came on stage numerous times during the event. They also provided hypnotic imagery as they covered Beyonce in serpent-like patterns. The Mayyas then provided a series of stunning visual that showcased their unparalleled choreography.
The show was attended by a number of high-profile celebrities including Beyonce’s husband Jay Z, former X Factor star Liam Payne, Emily in Paris star Ashley Park and many more. The Mayyas Thanked Beyonce in an Instagram Post
The group expressed their happiness in an Instagram post, thanking the singer who was leading the show that night. The head of the Mayyas group, Nadim Cherfan revealed how it was a dream come true for him. To see the group he founded performing with his lifelong favorite singer Beyonce was undoubtedly a defining moment in his life.
“To the artist of my life beyonce , thank you for making my dream come true,”” Cherfan said. “Thank you for being the humblest, most professional and phenomenal human that you are. I could live in this moment forever. I love you, always have and always will. You are my light.”
The Mayyas performed alongside the singer during her performances of “Bigger,” her song for the live remake of Disney’s The Lion King, and “Beautiful Liar,” her duet song with Shakira. The all-female dance group has seen a rapid rise in fame after winning AGT, and they’re just getting started with the latest performance.
