‘Canada’s Got Talent’ Decides Top 14 Acts as Auditions Wrap Up

Canada’s Got Talent Season 3 returned on Tuesday night for the final round of auditions, as the judges decided the Top 14 acts to move on to the next round. That includes six Golden Buzzer acts from earlier in the season.
Young Singer Wows Canada’s Got Talent as Auditions Wrap Up
During Tuesday’s show, 19-year-old Eshan Sobti took the stage and shared that he was bullied growing up. He shared an inspiring message about following your passion, before performing a cover of Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know.”
The performance received a standing ovation from the judges and audience. Howie Mandel pointed to the crowd’s reaction and told Eshan, in response to the question posed in the song, “This is how you’ll know!”
Lilly Singh said she hopes Eshan goes all the way, sharing that he might win the entire show. Kardinal Offishall pointed out how difficult Whitney Houston songs can be, but said Eshan “owned it.” Mandel called it a “million-dollar performance.”
Eshan received four yes votes from the judges. He was the only act from Tuesday’s auditions to move on to the next round in the Top 14.

Which Acts Made It into the Top 14?
On Tuesday night, CGT revealed the Top 14 acts who would be moving on to the next round of the competition. That includes the six Golden Buzzer acts — comedian Sterling V. Scott, Magician Mark Lewis, singer Jade Mathieu, sand artists Together for Peace, roller skating duo Mat & Mym, and singer Rebecca Strong.
Also in the Top 14 are singer Eshan Sobti, dance duo Funkanometry, singer Matthew Cooper, comedian Travis Lindsay, dance duo Luka & Jenalyn, magician Mark Clearview, singer Natalie Morris, and contortionist Troy James.
