‘AGT’ Singer Peter Rosalita Wows ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ Audience
Peter wore a powder blue suit for his big appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He took a 15 and a half hour plane ride from Abu Dhabi to get to California. Ellen DeGeneres asked him about how he got his start in singing before making it big on AGT.
“I started singing at the age of three but my parents told me when I was six, I joined a competition in our school and I got third runner up,” he said.
Peter went on to say that he “felt surprised” to be one of the youngest contestants that made it to the live shows this season. He smiled as he talked about making lasting friendships with all of the other contestants. The best part about competing on AGT this season was when he got a special shoutout on Twitter from Celine Dion’s team. To describe his reaction to DeGeneres, Peter let out a screech.
Viewers saw Peter perform songs by several legendary divas this season including Dion, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey. For his performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he decided to take on one of the most popular ballads, “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. He launched right into the song with power and his usual confident stage presence. He sounded like a total pro on stage.
After the performance, DeGeneres shared that Peter said he wanted to see the entirety of Warner Bros. Studio where The Ellen DeGeneres Show is filmed. She sent Peter and his aunt that is traveling with him on a tour of the whole lot. A golf cart pulled up on the stage and Peter had the biggest smile on his face. He jumped right in and waved goodbye to the audience in the most adorable television moment ever.
