Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has postponed two dates on the upcoming UK leg of his Stairway to the Sky tour. The Edinburgh shows have been moved from November to December, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
Zayn Malik Postpones Two UK Tour Dates
On Thursday, Malik shared on Instagram stories that two upcoming shows in Edinburgh were being postponed. The show on November 20 will now take place on December 8, and the show on November 21 will now take place on December 9.
No reason was given for this change other than “unforeseen circumstances.” The UK leg of the tour, which was originally supposed to kick off in Edinburgh, will now start November 23 in Leeds, with several more shows around the UK leading up to the second Edinburgh show on December 9.
The Stairway to the Sky tour follows the release of Malik’s fourth solo album, Room Under the Stairs, in May of this year. It was the singer’s first studio album in three years, following the 2021 release Nobody Is Listening.

Malik Postponed the U.S. Leg of His Tour
This isn’t the only part of Malik’s new tour that he has postponed. The U.S. leg was originally supposed to kick off in October, but the singer postponed those shows following the death of his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.
The U.S. shows on Malik’s tour will now take place early next year, starting in Washington, D.C., on January 21. The tour will then move on to New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, before coming to a close in San Francisco on February 3.
Malik paid tribute to Payne following his death last month, writing in a message to his bandmate that he “never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life.” He added that he “lost a brother.”
