During the Season 16 premiere of America’s Got Talent, a 10-year-old singer named Peter Rosalita wowed the judges with his cover of Celine Dion’s “All By Myself.”

Dion’s team recently took notice of Peter’s performance and tweeted a response. Peter later reacted to receiving the supportive response on his own social media.

Peter Rosalita Receives Response from Celine Dion’s Team

The official Celine Dion Twitter account retweeted a video of Peter’s audition on Friday. The account added, “Bravo!” with three clapping hand emojis. It was signed as coming from “Team Celine.” It doesn’t seem to have come from the singer directly, but it’s still an impressive response.

Peter definitely seems excited about the recognition. He retweeted Team Celine’s comment, exclaiming, “I got goosebumps!!! Thank you @celinedion.” He added a heart-eye emoji and a red heart. He also posted about it on his Instagram account.

During the Season 16 premiere, Peter strutted onto the AGT stage in a white suit and shared that he was born in the United Arab Emirates, but he is a Filipino citizen. He said he would use the million-dollar prize to buy a Nintendo Switch and a laptop for online school.

What Did the ‘AGT’ Judges Think of Peter’s Audition?

For his audition, Peter Rosalita sang a powerhouse rendition of “All By Myself,” hitting some out-of-this-world notes. Although he didn’t earn the Golden Buzzer, his performance earned some high praise from the show’s judging panel, including Simon Cowell.

Heidi Klum said she expected a glass to break from Peter’s high notes, adding, “Mariah better watch out.” Cowell, meanwhile, called it “an incredible audition,” telling Peter that parts of the performance gave him goosebumps. Peter was clearly excited to hear this glowing feedback.

The young singer received four “yes” votes from the judges to move on to the next round of the competition. We can’t wait to hear what he chooses to sing for the Judge Cuts.
