Jesse McCartney Looks Like Leonardo DiCaprio in New Music Video

Calling all Jesse McCartney fans! His first music video in two years was just released and we’re swooning over the teen heartthrob’s new look in this western short film. We know McCartney has taken some time to work with more acting and reality gigs, so it really shouldn’t be that much of a surprise that this video also doubles as a short film.
The music video for “Kiss The World Goodbye” features McCartney and fiancée, Katie Peterson. The two have put out short videos that look like old films in the past, so it’s not a huge surprise that this video has a nostalgic feeling to it as well.
The song is about a couple being bullet proof, and shows the duo in an old time cops and robbers film. The video even features a muscle car. What’s really cool about this music video, is that it isn’t just about the music.
About a minute and a half into the video, the music stops. Then, McCartney and Peterson act out an armed robbery. Let us be the first to say, McCartney looks and acts like Leonardo DiCaprio in this role. We never thought we’d get to swoon over Jesse McCartney holding a gun, yet here we are.

There’s even a scene of McCartney getting shot at the end of the video. I guess you could say, their love wasn’t so bulletproof after all.
As for the song, it works really well in the video, but has yet to hit the charts. This song is still very young considering it came out yesterday. So we’re hoping it hits the charts soon!
The “New Stage” For McCartney
Fans absolutely loved seeing McCartney in the new video. But, some picked up on a minor hint that could be telling us something for the near future.
“The number of the safe was 1023 does this mean that the CD comes out at 23 October? Haha I try to guess,” said one fan in the YouTube comments.
It’s interesting a fan picked up on this minor hint. Could McCartney be hinting to fans that his new album will be coming out in October by making 1023 the code to the safe?
McCartney said that “New Stage” will be coming out in Fall 2021 in an Instagram post. He has also hinted toward recording music from his “Turtle” alias on The Masked Singer, so we’re very curious on to what “New Stage” will include.
Overall, this “Beautiful Soul” teen heartthrob has done it again! He’s back to creating the easy to listen to pop that got him popularity in the early 2000s. We cannot wait to hear what he has coming in the near future.
