Cheat: Unfinished Business began streaming on Netflix on April 30, 2025. This unscripted Netflix show features 8 former couples, reuniting at a luxury retreat. The show’s official description is “Sun, scandal and second chances collide in this reality show in which former cheaters reconnect with their exes. With Amanda Holden and Paul C. Brunson.”
This season’s ex couple line up includes pairs Biggs and Rebecca; Kieran and Amberley; Shaun and Tegan; Conor and Lucia; Steph and Andre; Liam and Olivia; Dan and Rebecca C; Craig and Jazz.

The Guardian Calls The Show “The Single Worst Show That Has Ever Been Created”
Since the show premiered, fans have flocked to social media to share their opinions on the reality show. It seems as if this show is falling a bit flat among reality fans right now. The Guardian writer, Stuart Heritage, admits that Cheat: Unfinished Business is “the single worst show that has ever been created.”
Within Heritage’s review, he shares that Cheat: Unfinished Business is “a 2025 reality show hosted by Amanda Holden, notable for being the single worst thing that has ever been created in the history of humankind.”
Later in the article, The Guardian describes Holden’s role as differing dependent on what time of the day it is. When light outside, “her job is to pull a concerned face and nod whenever any of the contestants say anything emotionally vulnerable.”
At night time, Holden “shines her legs to a high reflective sheen, puts on a see-through dress and struts backwards and forwards in slow motion while making an expression as if she were holding in a potentially catastrophic bout of gastroenteritis.”
When looking into the show further, it seems fans on Reddit have a similar opinion on the series. In a thread shared on R/Breakups, someone wrote “It’s honestly quite a difficult watch and definitely not like other dating reality tv shows. The honeymoon period is looong over. It’s really raw / emotional and shows how in most cases it is very difficult to make things work again after all the hurt and break of trust.”
