Is Jesse McCartney Releasing Music from ‘The Masked Singer’?
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Jesse McCartney, or “Turtle” to The Masked Singer super fans, posted a teaser on Instagram featuring “new” music. The singer has yet to reveal exactly why he recorded “Kiss from a Rose” by Seal, but we do know it has something to do with his time on the FOX show.
“Alright where are all of my Masked Singer fans?” said McCartney in his Instagram reel before flipping the camera to show his computer with the track. Fans are hoping for an album filled with the music McCartney performed on The Masked Singer.
Turtle made it to the finale in season three of The Masked Singer. He was runner up to Kandi Burruss also known as “Night Angel”. During his time on the show, McCartney sand some classics including Seal’s iconic hit. “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” by Shawn Mendes, “Fix You” by Coldplay, and Nick Jonas’s “Jealous” are some more of Turtle’s amazing covers that we’d love to see on an album.
Fans of The Masked Singer flew to the comments to discuss the possibility of McCartney releasing the covers from the show. A lot of the comments on McCartney’s reel are in full caps, with hopes that the singer-songwriter sees their excitement for whatever this project is.
“YOU BETTER RECORD ALL YOUR MASKED SINGER COVERS BECAUSE WE NEED THEM 😍” said one fan in the comments.
New Music in The Works
On July 8, McCartney posted a photo from an interview with Billboard about his upcoming album. Yup, you read that right ALBUM. Within these photos he posed in front of a multi colored wall, in two different outfits.
“Thank you @billboard, I had a great time speaking with you❤️ New Stage coming Fall 2021! Read the entire article at the link in my bio,” said McCartney in the post.
Will we see another hit like “Beautiful Soul” out of this singer-songwriter later this year? We sure hope so. McCartney has yet to release a date of when we can expect “Kiss The World Goodbye,” or his new album, “New Stage,” but, he has shared photos from what looks to be a music video shoot.
“Bullet Proof… #KissTheWorldGoodbye,” said McCartney in another post.
Is Jesse McCartney making a comeback? With the amount of hinted music, it’s possible this runner up from The Masked Singer will be using his revived popularity to help boost his career back in action. We are definitely not complaining about our childhood crush possibly making a return to the pop charts.
