Claudia Conway has become a huge TikTok star with 1.7 million followers on the growing platform. The 16-year-old auditioned for Season 19 of American Idol and fans cannot wait to see if she makes it to Hollywood. In the meantime, here are some interesting facts that you might not know about the daughter of former presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway and attorney George Conway.
1. Claudia Conway Has A Secret YouTuber Past
While she may be the queen of TikTok right now, Claudia was actually a content creator on Musical.ly. In 2018, Musical.ly was rebranded into what we now know today as TikTok. Claudia began making videos when she was in the fifth grade and went on hiatus a few times before becoming a full-fledged TikToker. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of her TikTok account, you can see Claudia when she was around 10 years old making content. She even had a brief stint as a YouTuber and posted the Adele cover below.

2. She Often Talks About Her Complicated Dating Life
Who is Claudia dating? Truthfully, it’s none of our business but her followers have always wanted to know. It was rumored that Claudia was dating student Carmelo Verlado. However, they really have not posted anything together other than a since-deleted Instagram picture. She did post a video on TikTok in the summer saying that she is accepting boyfriend applications. In a recent video, Claudia said that her love life is currently like “Romeo and Juliet but in real life.” She alluded to liking someone but not being able to date them.

3. Claudia Has A Hidden Rapping Talent
Besides singing, Claudia actually has a pretty cool hidden talent. She can rap really fast! Now let’s face it, Nicki Minaj is probably one of the fastest and most skilled rappers of all time. Claudia posted several videos nailing some iconic Nicki Minaj lyrics that most people can’t do. She also posted a similar video lip-synching to some of the fastest raps of all time at super speed. Will we be seeing some rapping from Claudia on American Idol? Chances are Claudia will opt to just sing on the show. She has been doing theater since she could walk and plays at least eight instruments.
She has posted a few short clips playing the piano and singing in the past. Many of her newer followers were not even aware that Claudia sings. They were all very surprised in the TikTok comments section after she announced that she auditioned for American Idol.

4. She Hilariously Called Out The Producers Of ‘American Idol’
Though Claudia is receiving a lot of buzz on social media after clips of her American Idol audition were released, she has a bone to pick with producers. The TikTok star posted three videos criticizing the producers for including footage of her hunched over during her audition. Now, of course, Claudia was only poking fun at this but her fans in the comments section agree that the producers could have chosen a more flattering angle. “I got one question for today, what the f*ck is this and why?” Claudia asks in one TikTok video as a photo from her audition is on the screen.
5. Claudia’s Fans Sent Her Money In The Past To Get Her Through A Hard Time
In the summer of 2020, Claudia announced that she was going to push for emancipation from her parents. Her rocky relationship with her parents has been blasted in the public eye for years. Fans began sending Claudia money on Venmo to help her in any way that they could. She recently announced on TikTok that she is working on her relationship with her parents and trying to keep it more private. Now Claudia has a Cameo account where she sends personalized videos to fans as a way to spread love and give back.
