When American Idol returns in February, be on the lookout for Claudia Conway — TikTok star and daughter of former counselor to Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway.
Claudia, who recently turned 16 years old, posted a TikTok video from the set of the show, sharing that she was about to audition. It was her first post on the platform in several weeks.
Claudia Conway Auditions For ‘American Idol’
“Hey, guys! I’m here at American Idol confessional!” Claudia declared in the clip, turning the camera around to show a team of crew people, who cheered. Behind her, the American Idol logo was visible.
Claudia added that she had met Ryan Seacrest, sharing, “I have my audition soon, so stay tuned for that. Very, very nervous, but very excited.” She closed the video by blowing a kiss to the camera.
American Idol is filming all of its auditions in California this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 19th season is set to premiere on February 14, 2021, on ABC. We can’t wait to see how Claudia does in her audition, and if she mentions her famous family.
For those wondering if Claudia can sing, look no further than her TikTok account. In one clip from October, she performs Hozier’s “Take Me to Church.” Sounds like she has a pretty good voice.
What Is Claudia Known For On TikTok?
Claudia Conway recently made headlines for revealing her mother Kellyanne Conway had tested positive for COVID-19 before the media reported it. She also claimed Donald Trump’s condition after being infected was worse than the White House made it out to be.
Although Claudia’s mom Kellyanne used to work for the Trump administration, Claudia is vocally anti-Trump. She has also voiced her support for the Black Lives Matter movement, and participated in the “Save Barron” trend on social media, referring to Trump’s youngest son.
Claudia has amassed a huge following for her posts. She currently has 1.4 million followers on TikTok, so we’re sure plenty of people will tune in to see her on the new season of American Idol.
