Fox announced this week that The Masked Singer has been renewed for a sixth season. Each season of the show gets more and more shocking with the most unexpected celebrity reveals. After five very successful seasons, the show will continue to get even crazier.
Fox Announces ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 6 is on the Way
For five seasons, Nick Cannon has hosted the hit Fox show. Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Ken Jeong have become one of television’s most hilarious judging panels. It has not officially been confirmed if the judging panel will remain the same, but we have a hunch that all of the judges will sign on for another season.
As always, the show will most likely continue to bring on guest panelists in the new season to help the judges guess the celebrities’ identities. As the fifth season of The Masked Singer is drawing a close, fans can only speculate what kind of cooky costumes and celebrity reveals we will see next season.
On Instagram, many fans are hoping that The Masked Singer retires all of the different variations of The Monster costume. Over the seasons, we have seen The Monster, Grandpa Monster, Squiggly Monster, and Miss Monster take the stage. It’s only a matter of time before the show debuts a Baby Monster costume.
“PLS NO BABY MONSTER. The monsters are getting less and less fun,” one fan of the show wrote on Instagram.
Other popular costume ideas that fans threw out in Instagram comments include a strawberry, a ghost, corn on the cob, and a cupcake.
Season 6 of The Masked Singer is slated to premiere in Fall 2021. One thing we know that the new season will keep is the outlandish celebrity guesses. Expect the judges to name-drop Jamie Foxx and Jeong’s personal favorite, Bjork.
The Masked Singer Season 5 is quickly coming to an end. Catch the semi-finals featuring guest panelist Darius Rucker tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
