Jessica Sanchez on 'America's Got Talent' 2025 Semifinals

The America’s Got Talent Finale is only a week away and a clear frontrunner is officially emerging. Season one returning contestant, Jessica Sanchez, has pulled ahead in the competition via social media.

Jessica Sanchez’s Semifinal Performance Earns 4 Million Views Across Platforms

At the time of writing (nearly 15 hours after the Semifinals) Sanchez’s performance of “Golden Hour” by JVKE has brought it nearly 382 thousand views on YouTube. Out of the 11 contestants, Sanchez has 40.4% of all views combined. Trailing behind Sanchez is 10 year old guitar player Bay Melnick Virgolino with 122 thousand views.

When looking on Instagram, the performance earned 358 thousand views. On this platform, she has 36.0% of all views, nearly 5x more than all contestants. The closest in views is Jourdan Blue, with 110 thousand views.

On TikTok, Sanchez’s performance has earned 1 million views. Of all the contestants, she has 43.8% of all views, nearly 7x more views. Trailing behind her on this platform is also Jourdan Blue, with 715 thousand views.

Finally, on Facebook, Sanchez earned 2.3M views. On this platform, she is 74.4% of all views, nearly 29x more views than the others. Trailing behind her on Facebook is Birmingham Youth Choir with 161 thousand views.

Combining all platforms together, Sanchez earned nearly 4 million views for her semifinal performance. This makes her a clear front runner in the competition. It seems like singer Jourdan Blue is directly behind her, with following contestants Bay Melnick Virgolino and Birmingham Youth Choir.

Will She Win AGT?

Unfortunately, social media views only tell part of a story, so it’s hard to determine if she’s going to win the competition just yet. Although it would be an amazing full circle moment for Sanchez to win the competition nearly 20 years after her original audition, it’s not entirely determined just yet.

These social media numbers definitely solidify her position as a frontrunner, but it doesn’t count live show viewers. Live show viewers are typically the people who vote for the show, while social media views include people outside of America, who are unable to vote.

Only time will tell if Sanchez will be the next champion of America’s Got Talent. Be sure to tune into the Semifinals results on Wednesday, September 17 at 8PM ET. Missed AGT last night? Catch up here.
