Sneak Peek: Apollo 11 Takes Off From The ‘America’s Got Talent’ Stage With Virtual JFK

Houston, we have landed on the AGT stage! That’s right, Apollo 11 is set to launch from AGT this Tuesday and we’ve got the video sneak peek from Space.com!
It’s the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon and an AGT contestant is paying homage with a luminous tribute.
Alex Dowis is a light projection artist that will showcase the iconic moment that Apollo 11 launched into space. The play of light performance will be accompanied with a ballad and President John F. Kennedy’s We Choose To Go To The Moon speech.
On Tuesday nights episode, Alex takes to the AGT stage to impress the judges with his stellar performance. In addition to the judges, Alex will also have to dazzle Miami Heat all-star Dwayne Wade.
This must-see performance honors a celebration from around the world. Judge Gabrielle Union looks to co-judge Howie Mandel asking, “Oh my gosh, is that J.F.K?!” To which Howie nods and says, “Yep.” Judges Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell look on in amazement.
Who Is Alex Dowis?
As a large mural artist in the Czech Republic, Alex set his sites on changing the artistic world. In 2012 he participated in the Slovakia Czech Talent competition becoming the first Czech to introduce Light Art.
Alex Dowis is also an artist, lyricist, director, speed-painter…should we keep going? This year, Alex attended the Spanish TV show El hormiguero where he met actor Antonio Banderas. The artist painted motifs to show his love for the premiere of the new series.
