Simon Cowell’s Shorts Have the Judges Confused During ‘AGT’ Premiere

The Season 16 premiere of America’s Got Talent had one major star emerging during the auditions. Simon Cowell’s white shorts stole the show within the first few minutes of the episode. While Cowell looked like he was ready for casual Friday, all of the other judges were super dressed up.

Terry Crews got right down to business after the judge’s introductions and asked fashionista Sofia Vergara what she thought about Cowell’s shorts and legs.
“I mean I wouldn’t send them to a Mr. Leg contest or anything like that or to the AGT of legs but they’re fine,” she said.
Cowell was all smiles in his big return to America’s Got Talent after breaking his back last year. He has since recovered from a long back surgery and made a bold fashion choice tonight. Luckily, he is always able to take a little bit of teasing from his fellow judges.
“I have missed you guys,” Cowell admitted to his fellow judges even though they roasted him for his shorts. “It is so nice to be back.”
Cowell sat out of the live shows last year and had Kelly Clarkson and Kenan Thompson fill in for him. He also was absent from the Britain’s Got Talent live shows but will rejoin the panel next season.
“What is the deal with the shorts?” Heidi Klum asked Cowell.
Cowell was seen carrying a suit onto the America’s Got Talent set during the auditions. Expect him to switch it up with his fashion choices this season.
“I was just comfortable,” Cowell said.
