In the new clip from Wednesday’s episode, Thicke performs “As Long as We Got Each Other,” the theme song to the family sitcom Growing Pains, which starred Alan Thicke as Dr. Jason Seaver.
The performance is formatted like a TV show intro for each of the panelists and host Nick Cannon. It features throwback photos of the stars when they were kids. The song ends with all four panelists (including Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Jenny McCarthy) on stage together. The screen shows a photo of a young Thicke with his dad on the set of Growing Pains.
“An amazing tribute to America’s dad and Robin’s dad, the unforgettable Alan Thicke,” Cannon says as the panelists take their places at the table to prepare for the new episode.
According to People, Thicke’s mother Gloria Loring is in the audience for the show. Together, Loring and her then-husband Alan Thicke composed the theme songs for the shows Diff’rent Strokes and The Facts of Life.

What to Expect from This Week’s Episode
Last week, Harp kept her title of Queen of The Masked Singer during Vegas Night. She’ll return for yet another performance this week, as she faces off against two new contestants — Fortune Teller and Mummies.
The episode will most likely feature another two unmaskings. Either Harp will once again retain the title of Queen, or one of the new contestants will dethrone her. Based on the night’s theme, it looks like this week’s contestants will be performing famous TV theme songs.
The Masked Singer Season 8 returns Wednesday night at 8/7c on FOX.
