Rita Ora Might Give Up ‘The Masked Singer UK’ As She Films Upcoming Movie

Pop star Rita Ora recently hinted the possibility of leaving The Masked Singer UK to give way for her schedule of filming her upcoming movie. The singer also addressed the ongoing rumors that she, Taika Waititi, and Tessa Thompson are having a throuple.
Rita Ora Hints at Quitting The Masked Singer UK
Last year, the public came to know the great news that Ora joined the cast of The Pocketwatch. Such is a Disney+ film, more particularly a musical sequel to The Descendants. Subsequently, the production will kick off filming next month, leaving Ora with no choice but to juggle intense schedules for work.
In a recent interview with GQ, the singer opened about the uncertainty of her stay in The Masked Singer UK. According to Ora, she doesn’t know what the future holds for her at the moment.
“I don’t want to walk away from that family right now, but you never know what’s going to happen,” she said.
Clearly, this could mean that she will be stepping away as judge in the British television show. Understandably, Ora would want to focus on her upcoming project this year.
“It felt like a good idea to sit alongside Jonathan [Ross], who I’ve loved since day one, Davina [McCall], who’s my TV icon, and Mo [Gilligan], who I met during the show,” she said. “It makes your job so much easier when you love the people around you.”
At present, no final announcements about departure from the reality show has been made by Ora. This makes fans hopeful as regards her consistent presence in the competition series.
She Responds to Throuple Rumors Between Her, Waititi, and Thompson
Back in May 2021, Ora, Taika Waititi, and Tessa Thompson were photographed enjoying a group kiss while chilling on a balcony. Naturally, the three-way kiss has made rounds on the internet, with the public speculating that they might been involved in a throuple.
This year, the pop star finally chose to put an end to the issue. According to her, despite sharing such steamy moment, their relationship was nothing but mere friendship.
“Literally—that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time,” she said. “They [Taika and Tessa] had a crazy schedule and everyone was letting loose. I love that. Each to their own.”
Amid awkward speculations, Ora nevertheless decided to see the good aspect of public reception. The singer stated that she likes the idea that throuple is starting to be normalized in the society.
