To celebrate the new season, Wild ‘N Out is partnering with Super League Gaming for three weeks beginning Tuesday, February 22. Together they will produce live streams showcasing an immersive experience inside the metaverse. Each week, within Super League’s Minecraft community, the live broadcast will present a fresh theme and respective challenge where players are able to freestyle rap as well as share thoughts about the new Wild ‘N Out episodes.
Cannon’s idea for the comedy show has helped launch many careers throughout the years. Fans tune in every week to see which guest stars will be able to handle being on stage and the main focus. Dancing With The Stars alum, Jimmie Allen is set to guest star this season along with others. Tyra Banks, Pharrell, Terry Crews, as well as Kelly Rowland have all guest hosted in the past.
‘Wild ‘N Out’ is Here to Stay
After making antisemitic comments on his podcast, Cannon was fired by ViacomCBS, the parent company which resides over MTV. Fans were outraged and demanded the return of the improv show. Cannon apologized for his comments and it wasn’t long before ViacomCBS picked up the show along with Cannon’s return.
Wild ‘N Out’s success continues to grow. The show has seen steady ratings as well as great reviews for each episode. Cannon recently announced a 23-city tour and the brand is said to be worth $500 million.
