The Voice has shared an early release clip from Monday’s new episode of Season 28, featuring two artists on Michael Bublé’s team going head-to-head in a Battle. It’s quite the match-up, as both Trinity and Jazz McKenzie were four-chair turns in their Blind Auditions.
Team Bublé Artists Battle in The Voice Early Release
This season on The Voice, the Battles have an interesting twist, as the artists are able to choose their own partners instead of the coaches pairing them up. Team Bublé singers Jazz McKenzie and Trinity chose to pair up for this round, as their coach chose “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai as their song.
Both singers turned all four coaches’ chairs in the Blind Auditions earlier this season, and their Battle performances certainly match their early success in the competition. They left their coach with an extremely difficult decision, bringing undeniable soul and power to their assigned song.
All four coaches clearly enjoyed the Battle, as they could be seen clapping and dancing along from their seats. They all gave Trinity and Jazz a standing ovation. Snoop Dogg commented that they “put some herbs and spices” into the original track.

What Did the Coaches Think of the Battle?
When commenting on the Battle, Snoop reminded everyone that he has a steal to use, implying he might try to get the rejected artist on his team. Both Niall Horan and Reba McEntire chimed in to point out that they also have steals. It could be quite the fight over whichever artist Bublé doesn’t choose.
Horan told Jazz and Trinity that they “brought a different league” to the stage with their performance, joking that he “dislocated a hip” dancing along. McEntire remarked that they “both tied,” saying she wouldn’t be able to choose a winner.
Bublé praised Trinity for her improvisations during the song, while complimenting Jazz’s “wonderful, powerful voice.” We’ll have to wait until Monday’s new episode of The Voice on NBC to find out which artist he chose to keep on his team, and if any of his fellow coaches chose to steal the other artist.
