Morgan Wallen Postpones Tour Dates, Cancels ACM Appearance
For those who may have missed it, ahead of this cancellation, Wallen had already canceled a few shows. Later, he returned to the road for three performances over the weekend. Unfortunately, these shows further aggravated his vocal issues, prompting him to seek medical attention once again. In his video statement, Wallen shared the news he received from the Vanderbilt Voice Center.
“Their advice is that I go on vocal rest for six weeks. So that’s what I’m going to do.” Wallen said.
The talented musician admitted that the vocal injury is not the only physical challenge he is facing. Wallen mentioned that he tore his lat while in Australia, and this time off will also allow him to recover from that injury. Despite his frustration, he acknowledged the importance of following medical advice.
Wallen assured his fans that efforts are underway to reschedule the postponed tour dates. While specific dates are still pending, he expressed optimism about finalizing the details soon. However, he regretfully announced that he would not be able to make the upcoming festivals during this timeframe. Nevertheless, he promised to make it up to his fans by scheduling those appearances for the following year.
