Trainor and Sabara already share a son named Riley, who was born in February 2021. On Sunday, Trainor teased on social media that she had some big news, posting a video of her family’s reaction to learning “the secret I’ve been keeping for the past few months.”
Then on Monday, the singer shared a photo of herself wearing bedazzled sunglasses and holding a sonogram. As she wrote in the post’s caption, “BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER.” Trainor also shared the news during an appearance on Today.
“What a blessing,” Trainor told People of her pregnancy. “I’m just so grateful I can get pregnant. And I’m like, ‘I’m crushing it. This is amazing. This is my dreams.’ I’m halfway there — I want four kids!”
The singer is reportedly four months in, and she shared that she kept her growing baby bump under wraps by wearing hoodies. Trainor also told Today that she and Sabara know the sex of the baby but aren’t ready to reveal it yet.

Trainor Is Also Releasing Her First Book This Year
Trainor shared last year that she was holding off on a tour as she tried to have another baby. She also said she wanted to write a book about pregnancy. Now both of those things have come true in the new year, as Trainor announced her first book, Dear Future Mama.
“When I was pregnant, I felt very alone,” Trainor told Today of her first pregnancy. “It was also Covid times so I didn’t have any friends that were pregnant with me, and I just remember being like, I don’t want anyone else to feel like that. So now I can be your future bestie and I can help you and tell you all my TMI details of my pregnancy and how crazy it was.”
Dear Future Mama is set to be released April 25. The book also includes insights from Trainor’s OB-GYN, registered dietician, and personal trainer.
