‘AGT’s Ashlee Montague Trained with Past Contestant Sofie Dossi

Former America’s Got Talent contestant Sofie Dossi recently shared a YouTube video in which she can be seen working with Season 19 contestants Ashlee Montague to perfect her routine before the Quarterfinals, in the hope of receiving a Golden Buzzer.

Montague made it through the audition round of AGT Season 19 with her incredible acrobatic act, which involved balancing on wine bottles while wearing ballet pointe shoes. Before performing in the live Quarterfinals, she stopped by contortionist Sofie Dossi’s studio to train.
In a video posted on Dossi’s YouTube channel (which currently has over 9 million subscribers), the pair worked together to improve Montague’s showmanship and create a routine that would wow the judges. Dossi even recruited her dad to build Montague a ladder.
Dossi recommended that Montague should add fire to her routine, which she did. She also gave Montague a tour of her studio, which the Season 19 contestant posted on her own YouTube channel. Unfortunately, Montague didn’t earn a Golden Buzzer, and she wasn’t voted through to the Semifinals.

Dossi Recently Returned to the Got Talent Stage
Dossi recently returned to the America’s Got Talent stage as a guest performer. She appeared during Thursday’s Semifinals results show. This isn’t the first time she’s performed as a guest. Last season, she took the stage with Reba McEntire, who gave her a Golden Buzzer in Season 11.
Dossi was just 14 when she auditioned for the show, wowing the judges with her contortionist routine. She made it all the way to the Season 11 Finals, although she didn’t win. Dossi later returned to compete in AGT: The Champions, where she was eliminated in the preliminaries.
Most recently, Dossi competed on Heidi Klum’s team on AGT: Fantasy League. This time, she made it to the Top 10, although she didn’t end up winning. However, she’s amassed a huge following on social media in the years since her initial run on AGT. She currently has over 12 million followers on TikTok.
