Kelsea Ballerini recently paid tribute to her boyfriend Chase Stokes on TikTok, calling him her “favorite human.” The two were first linked in January of this year, after Ballerini finalized her divorce from ex-husband Morgan Evans.
Kelsea Ballerini Pays Tribute to Boyfriend Chase Stokes
On Thursday, Ballerini posted a video on TikTok showing a montage of clips from her relationship with Stokes. The couple can be seen laughing, kissing, and dancing together. The video is set to Ballerini’s song “How Do I Do This.”
The track appears on Ballerini’s Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (For Good), which is an updated version of her tell-all EP from earlier this year. Ballerini sings about the difficult experience of going on a date with someone new after getting out of a relationship.
In the caption of her TikTok, Ballerini called Stokes her “favorite human,” adding a melting face and white heart emoji. Stokes is an actor, best known for his role on the Netflix series Outer Banks. The pair first sparked dating rumors in early 2023.

Ballerini Finalized Her Divorce Last Year
Ballerini married fellow country singer Morgan Evans in 2017. In August 2022, Ballerini announced that they were divorcing. The divorce was finalized in November of last year. In January of this year, rumors started to swirl that Ballerini was dating Stokes.
In February, Ballerini confirmed they were dating, saying she slid into Stokes’ DMs last December. She explained that she had never seen Outer Banks, but she “knew of him,” adding, “So I followed him and he followed me and I just swung through right on it.”
Earlier this month, Ballerini and Stokes walked the red carpet together at the CMA Awards. This year, Ballerini was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. Unfortunately, she didn’t walk away with any trophies.
