Former The Voice guest coach Kelsea Ballerini recently took to TikTok to respond to speculation about her love life following rumors that she’s dating actor Chase Stokes. The singer wrote that she’s “about to break up with the internet.”
Kelsea Ballerini Rumored to Be Dating Actor Chase Stokes
Rumors began to swirl last week that Ballerini could be dating Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes. The pair sat together at the College Football Playoff National Championship, as shown in a photo posted by Stokes on Instagram. Another group photo on Twitter shows them getting close.
According to Cosmopolitan, the possibility that the pair is dating has been discussed on the celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi. On Monday, Ballerini posted a TikTok video showing a recent screenshot from DeuxMoi talking about her and Stokes.
The post includes the claim that Ballerini is “too busy consistently asking out the manager of [Soho House Nashville] when she comes in all the time after last call.” They also suggested that the rumored relationship between Ballerini and Stokes was “PR play.”

Ballerini Responded to the Gossip on TikTok
In her TikTok video, Ballerini acknowledged that she should “stop looking” at gossip about her, adding, “But what is happening, guys? What? What? What? No, let’s not do this. You know?” In the caption, she wrote that she’s “about to break up with the internet 5 sure.”
However, fans in the comments pointed out that Ballerini didn’t confirm or deny the rumors about dating Stokes. Other fans are also openly shipping her with former X Factor star Fletcher. The pair recently starred together in a new music video.
Ballerini is newly single after finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Morgan Evans last year. The couple tied the knot in 2017. She later said it would have been “such a disservice and a dishonoring of yourself” to stay in the marriage.
