Kayleigh Taylor Responds To Reports About Her Past
Syco/Thames/Dymond Saturday, The X Factor UK judges were wowed by the dulcet tones of Kayleigh Taylor. Louis and Simon both agreed that she had the best quality voice they had seen that day. Simon even called her the next Adele. Strong praise. But as always happens when you step into the spotlight, the tabloids were quick to dig up her passed transgressions, getting Simon’s name tattooed on her back not being one of them.

It seems that Kayleigh appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show a few years back. That’s like a Jerry Springer-type show with less chair throwing. The topic of the show was ‘I found my long-lost father and I hope DNA proves he’s not my dad,’  which is a bit of a mouthful. Her father accused her of stealing his cell phone and she denied it. They ran a lie detector test on her and she failed. She told The Sun,
“I don’t pretend to be perfect. I’m human. I’ve made a number of mistakes in the past and I’m now trying to better my life.”
Clearly she is trying to better herself or she wouldn’t have tried out for The X Factor. Look, we’ve all made mistakes and done stupid stuff in their youth. Does that necessarily make her a bad person? No. Does it preclude her from winning The X Factor? Absolutely not. So, let’s just judge her by what she does now and her talent and not for her past.
