John Legend Rips Off Blake’s Win Cam With iPhone, What’s Different?

KJ Jennings performed on The Voice stage with “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae during the last week of the blind auditions. She premiered a very jazzy, soulful voice during her blind audition. Not only did this singer turn two chairs, she basically got the best deal by receiving two team gifts.
Now, you cannot choose two coaches in this competition, but John Legend and Blake Shelton both turned their chairs for this Texas native. Shelton shared that he thought her voice was really cool and flowy. He told the singer that although she’s not a country singer, he’d like to learn about her art.
Legend considered her an adventurous singer and shared that he absolutely loves the genre himself. I really thought this coach was extremely honest when talking to KJ on stage. In the long run, I’m happy she ended up choosing Team Legend.
John’s Win Cam Makes an Appearance
Even though all of the coaches mentioned that she had nerves on stage, I thought she sounded amazing. It will be really cool to see how much she progresses on Team Legend. After KJ announced that she picks Team Legend, she immediately jumped around in a circle. Along with Legend’s robe he had something else planned for this singer.
“I decided I would label my phone John’s win cam because what’s the difference between that and Blake’s win cam?” said Legend. “No difference.”
This R&B singer was so excited to have this new team member that he decided to rip off Shelton’s coach gift of the season. This moment was absolutely hilarious. He grabbed his phone and took a selfie video with RJ after stating that any camera could be considered a “win cam.” After his statement, the coaches general consensus was that he was completely right. The win cam really isn’t anything more than a camera.
Shelton found Legend ripping off his gift funny. He said that Legend isn’t a funny guy, but he found this prank pretty funny. I think we can all agree that it was hilarious.
