Cheryl Burke might have quit Dancing With The Stars, but the reality series is certainly not the last time we’ll see her on screen. Currently, Burke is “in talks” about joining a new television show. Here’s why our gut tells us that she might be in The Bachelorette next year.

Cheryl Burke Talks About Her Upcoming TV Project

Over the past months, Cheryl Burke has been candid about her possible career move after her DWTS retirement. On several episodes of her podcast, Burke In The Game, she shared that there’s a brewing television show where she might be a part of.

“I do know once one door closes, I’m pretty sure, because it has to happen, another door opens,” she said.

While she doesn’t want to announce anything officially, Burke told fans to stay tuned. According to her, she’s been negotiating about a television show even ahead of her final season in DWTS.

“There have been lots of interviews and auditions that I can’t necessarily tell you guys what it is, but it’s a very popular show that a lot of people have watched,” she said.

On November 29, she opened in her podcast that she’s been dealing with a lot of uncertainty about this next project. Be that as it may, she acknowledges that what’s to come is an opportunity.

Why We Think She’ll Be On The Bachelorette

Indeed, Burke didn’t say anything specific about romance, but she might actually be referring to The Bachelorette as her next television appearance. Back in August, the dancer revealed that she met with the executive of the dating show. At the time, said executive was trying to convince her to be star in The Bachelorette.

“It didn’t happen, obviously,” she said.

However, now that she has time to spare and an open heart to find love, could she be ready to be the next Bachelorette? Burke’s divorce from actor Matthew Lawrence has been out in the public since February. This September, the two have officially split in papers, The custody of their dog, Ysabella, is only matter binding them.

Should Burke be the lead in The Bachelorette, we suppose that people would be curious how she will spark love with someone after her painful marriage. Burke is no way unfamiliar to viewers, as she just made a pretty lengthy appearance on DWTS. Taking these factors into consideration, she might be the dating game show’s next female star.

Additionally, she once said that she wants to continue showing her “authentic self” on television. If so, The Bachelorette could give her the right space for that.

According to Burke, she will know more by the end of January or beginning of February. This time frame apparently fits the premiere of The Bachelorette season 27.

At present, fans are still in limbo about her future on television. Burke has long hinted about her desire to be on the judging panel of DWTS, but the probability of this doesn’t seem to favor on her side. Meanwhile, her possible lead role in The Bachelorette is something that only time will tell.

I think Cheryl could also be referring to a possible judging spot on America’s Got Talent for their summer season.
