Britain’s Got Talent has shared a few early release clips from this week’s new episode of Series 18. One video features an audition from an 18-year-old acrobat named Albert Amores, who wows the judges with his high-flying routine.
Acrobat Auditions for BGT in Early Release Clip
Albert Amores started his audition with some contemporary dance moves, set to “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone. After a moment, he started performing on a pole hanging from the ceiling. Albert swung through the air, showing amazing strength and grace.
As the song built in intensity, so did Albert’s performance. The audience cheered for his talent, and the judges were captivated as Albert swung faster and faster, putting his body into positions that seemed to defy gravity.
Simon Cowell said that Albert has “a star glow,” while Amanda Holden called his performance “effortless and graceful.” Alesha Dixon called it “a seamless piece of art.” Bruno Tonioli said it was “poetry in motion” as Albert played “music with your body.” All four judges voted “yes” to sending Albert forward in the competition.
BGT also shared a couple of other early release clips from this Saturday’s new episode. That includes a performance from an all-female group called Idolls, who freak out the judges with their creepy and robotic dance moves.
In another clip shared by the show, a magician named Alexandra Burgio takes the stage with duct tape over her mouth, preventing her from speaking to the judges. As she begins her performance, she steps down to the judges’ table and puts a piece of duct tape over Simon Cowell’s mouth.
We’ll have to wait until the new episode airs this Saturday on ITV1, ITVX, and STV to find out what happens next in Alexandra’s audition. Are you excited to watch this week’s performances? Let us know in the comments below.
