All ‘DWTS’ Season 32 Rumors Decoded — Len Goodman’s Replacement, Tyra Banks Fired, ‘DWTS’ Returns to ABC?

Ever since Dancing With the Stars season 31 concluded, there has been tons of rumors about the upcoming season. These rumors include Len Goodman’s replacement, Tyra Banks leaving the show, and DWTS‘s decision to stay on Disney+. Buckle up for this whirlwind of rumored changes.
Len Goodman’s Potential Replacement in DWTS Revealed
One episode away from DWTS season 31 finale, head judge Len Goodman shocked everybody by announcing his retirement. According to him, he wants to spend more time with his family, thus the need to go back to his home country, United Kingdom.
Today, DWTS is trying to find someone that would complete the panel of judges for the next season. While nothing is sure yet, an unknown source claimed that the show is considering Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse to fill Goodman’s empty seat.
“Motsi is a very outspoken and lively character,” the insider said. “She is loved on the UK version for being a strong independent mind and someone who stands up for herself.”
Mabuse is a fan-favorite judge in the British competition show and is reportedly on top of the list to replace Goodman on DWTS. The insider mentioned that Mabuse “would bring a new perspective to the show, and much-needed diversity to the table.”
Strictly judge Shirley Ballas is also said to be one the best options. Meanwhile, there were also DWTS pros who expressed their desire to be in the panel such as Cheryl Burke and Gleb Savchenko.
Tyra Banks Might Not Host Next Season
Aside from a change in the judging panel, DWTS is also allegedly considering a new host. If true, fans may not see resident host Tyra Banks in the next season. As stated by the insider, DWTS is unhappy with Banks for not promoting the show as much as expected.
“It is upsetting. If she did not have her executive producer role, some of us believe she would have already departed,” the insider told The Sun.
Long before this claim, some DWTS fans were already urging the show to remove Banks as host. Throughout the previous seasons, Banks has received consecutive online backlash due to her chaotic hosting style. Her over the top outfits, live blunders, and insensitive remarks have been called out by fans multiple times.
Will DWTS Switch Back to ABC?
Another source revealed that DWTS will possibly stream on ABC again. Apparently, the show strongly felt that fans would still want the show to be more accessible.
“At first, the Disney+ move was a success and everyone was happy, but no one talked about real ratings or how well the show was doing,” the source said. “Truthfully, there was a fear among some of the team that ABC viewers didn’t come across.”
Just this year, DWTS made the decision to air the competition from ABC to Disney+. While several viewers did not let go of the show and availed a Disney+ subscription, many have also expressed their frustration over the sudden switch of network.
Amid ongoing DWTS rumors, we’re yet to know whether these probable changes will ring true.

Tyra needs to go go go. I am sick of her. She is NOT there to host but to show off some of the ugliest outfits I have ever seen. Get her off the show. Bring it back to ABC. I am a senior citizen and can not afford to pay extra for a show I have watch for many many years. I am also glad Len is going . Never liked him much.

For the first time since the show started I didn’t watch a single episode this past season because I refuse to get Disney+ and I’m prepared to stay that way. It has been tempting to give it up ever since Banks started hosting the show anyway. Sorry to hear Len is leaving because he is an excellent judge notwithstanding his strict demeanor but he deserves to retire sometime too. Bring it back to ABC, get rid of Banks and I and many other fans will be back.

I reluctantly purchased a subscription to Disney+ because this is my favorite show on TV.I have not liked the show since Tyra has been hosting. Someone forgot to tell her that it’s not the Tyra fashion show. I only kept watching because I was in hopes they would remove her. I was never fond of Tyra as host of show. Abit over the top for me. Perhaps bring back Tom or better yet consider pro dancers like Cheryl or Maksim. I don’t have Disney so missed seeing the shows. Bring back to ABC and plea
Tom was great! I think Mario would be good too. Glad Tyra will no longer be on. Too much attitude and over the top. Also, do you have to mention on every show if there is a LGBT dancer. I’m mot racist. Can’t we just be dancers without classifying everyone!
I would really like to see DWTS back on network. Love to watch it but as a Senior on fixed income, and husband in a nursing home for 2+ years I can’t afford subscriptions to Disney+ or other such channels that require fees. Many seniors I know feel the same way and really miss DWTS. PLEASE put it back on network. Replay last season we all missed.
I absolutely love the show but have barely been able to tolerate it with Tyra banks on there. It’s all about her and not the rest of the show and her God-awful outfits! I really like Alfonso and he does the show Justice . Definitely needs to come back to ABC As I have no desire to get Disney plus! They talk about replacing Len I hope it’s a good person and not somebody obnoxious!
I had watched DWTS faithfully and I mean faithfully until Tyra joined. After that, I recorded each show and sped through her shenanigans. She was not suited for this role. Then DWTS moved to Disney+. Did they realize a huge part of their audience are seniors and don’t stream??? Better luck in the upcoming changes. I hope you consider your audience verses the egos that control the show.
I have watch DWTS from season one and was a big fan. When it moved to Disney + I was unable to watch it. I truly hope they return to ABC.
