The Masked Singer Season 13 returned on Wednesday for Boy Band Night, as the remaining members of Group C took the stage for their chance to move on in the competition. At the end of the night, Stud Muffin was unmasked as Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan fame.

The Masked Singer Returns for Boy Band Night
During Wednesday’s show, Nessy returned to the stage to perform “Tearin’ Up My Heart” by NSYNC and teased that they were “known for my love songs.” Nessy had the panelists dancing along during the performance and inspired guesses such as Dave Matthews, Darius Rucker, and Pat Monahan.
The new episode also featured a performance from Yorkie, who sang “Step by Step” by New Kids on the Block — a group which famously featured panelist Jenny McCarthy’s husband Donnie Wahlberg. McCarthy could be seen singing along as Yorkie performed. She predicted that Wahlberg would say, “Yorkie’s got the right stuff.” Guesses from the panel included Teresa Giudice, Paris Hilton, and Erika Jayne.
Mad Scientist Monster also took the stage on Wednesday night, once again showing off a country twang on “I Swear” by All-4-One. Panelist Robin Thicke said they’re “one of the favorites this whole season to go all the way.” Guesses about Mad Scientist Monster’s identity included Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, and Keith Urban.
During Wednesday’s new episode, Stud Muffin took the stage to perform “Poison” by Bell Biv DeVoe. In his clue package, Stud Muffin teased that he knows “what it’s like to be a part of a brotherhood.” Unfortunately, he didn’t receive enough votes to move on to the Group C Finals.
Stud Muffin had to be unmasked, but not before the panelists shared their final guesses about his identity. Jenny McCarthy thought it was MC Hammer, while Ken Jeong guessed 2 Chainz. However, Rita Ora and Robin Thicke were the only ones to correctly guess that it was rapper Method Man, founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Method Man said his family would be shocked to find out he was under the mask, but he didn’t think his fellow Wu-Tang Clan members would be watching the show. Next week, The Masked Singer returns on FOX for the Group C Finals, with the theme Decades Night.
